KUALA LUMPUR: The 2014 edition of the Umno General Assembly brought down its curtains this evening after three days of meeting.
The 2,752 Umno delegates adopted tabled at the meeting The motion’s were divided according to the Presidential Policy Speech; Motion on Economy as well as Motion on Religion and Education.
The highlight of the third day was the Winding-Up speech by Umno President and Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak. This was preceeded earlier by the winding-up speech from Deputy Umno President and Deputy Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and the three party vice-presidents – Datuk seri Hishammuddin Hussein; Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi; and Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
The winding-up speech on various points raised by delegates during their debates was kicked-off Puteri Umno Chief, Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin, followed by Umno Youth Chief Khairy Jamaluddin and Umno Wanita Chief Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.

The third and final day of the party general assembly resumed with the debate on Economy motion followed by on Religion and Education.
