Spearheading Connexion@Nexus is UOA Hospitality Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of UOA which is staffed by an experienced sales and marketing team as well as a dynamic banquet team focused on fulfilling the needs of the surrounding community.
Located at the highest level of the Nexus building in Bangsar South City, it has a floor space of 13,935 sq m.
UOA Hospitality head Anita Khoo said the idea behind the development of Connexion@Nexus was to provide an opportunity for the community to come together in a strategic location between Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur city centre and Petaling Jaya for all kinds of activities, including business, social and leisure.
"Our intention was to offer an alternative venue for our surrounding community -- be it for corporate, social or private settings and to cater to any capacity.
"Connexion@Nexus is designed to offer a venue operated by our professional banquet team which delivers the best service complemented by our top-notch facilities."
There are three ballrooms (without pillars) that can be combined to provide a seating capacity of 2,600.
There are also four function rooms. Each room has a seating capacity of 250 for various events, including private functions, seminars, and conferences.
Connexion@Nexus was planned with a focus on maximising convenience and comfort for every occasion.
The 297-seater auditorium is equipped with a cutting edge sound and light system that makes a great setting for a plenary session or a theatre production.
