KUALA LUMPUR: World famous socialite Paris Hilton is in town for 'The Party of the Century' event in Empire City, Damansara Perdana tonight.
The 34-year-old model, singer and actress arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 9pm last night onboard an Emirates flight from Dubai.
Hilton, via her Twitter account, said she couldn't wait to perform in the event, and that this is her first time in Kuala Lumpur.
"Can't wait to perform at The #PartyOfTheCentury at @EmpireCity this Friday in Kuala Lumpur! This will be my first trip to Malaysia!," she said via her tweethandle @ParisHilton, which was linked from her Instagram account where she posted the party's poster.
The New York-born granddaughter of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton, who flew from Milan before stopping at Dubai, posted another Tweet about nine hours later when she was about to depart from the United Arab Emirates' city.
“Bye Dubai! Taking off to Kuala Lumpur? Can’t wait to go to Malaysia for my first time!” she said in the tweet, which also linked to her Instagram account. She also posted a picture of her onboard the flight on the Instagram account.
Hilton is expected to perform beside Black Eyed Peas' member Taboo and South Korean pop group 2AM at the ‘Glamorous 1920s’-themed party, which starts at 7pm till late today.
She will depart for Singapore on Saturday.
