RIO DE JANEIRO: The wait for Olympic gold continues as shuttlers Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong lost the Rio Olympics men's doubles final to China's Fu Haifeng-Zhang Nan on Friday.
The China pair won 16-21, 21-11, 23-21 in 65 minutes at Pavilion 4, Riocentro as Haifeng defended the gold he won with former partner Cai Yun in the 2012 London Olympics.
Bronze was won by Britain's Marcus Ellis-Chris Langridge who beat China's Chai Biao-Hong Wei in the third-place playoff on Thursday.
