(Formula One) Malaysia to host round 15 instead of round 16 next year

SEPANG: Malaysia has been given the honour of hosting Round 15 of the World Formula One Grand Prix on Sept 17, 2017.

According to a statement from the Federation Internationale Automobile (FIA), the calendar for next year would see Malaysia hosting Round 15 and Singapore (Round 16).

The switch was in contrast to this year whereby Singapore hosted its F1 race two weeks ago while Malaysia will be hosting the Petronas Malaysian F1 GP this weekend.
