Ebit Lew pestered woman for pictures of her breasts, court told

PETALING JAYA: A woman testified in the court today that celebrity preacher Ebit Lew had pressured her into sending him pictures of her breasts.

The woman admitted during cross-examination she had sent him one picture after being pressured, but denied cheating on her husband.

Sinar Harian reported that she said she had told her husband what had happened, and that she had been pressured into doing so.

"I didn't realise it at the time. When I did, I became angry with Ebit and informed my husband," the prosecution's ninth witness was quoted as saying.

The woman was testifying in the Tenom magistrate's court in Sabah where the preacher, whose full name is Ebit Irawan Ibrahim Lew, is facing 11 charges, including for outraging the modesty of a woman through obscene words and images sent to her phone between March and June 2021.
