KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin's former political secretary, who is facing three corruption charges involving RM350,000 to allegedly secure a police tender in 2020, will stand trial in May next year.
Sayed Amir Muzzakkir Al Sayed Mohamad,42, will be tried for 12 days from May 5 to 8, May 26 to 29 and June 23 to 26.
The dates were set by Sessions Court judge Rosli Ahmad during case mention today.

She said all relevant documents had been handed over to the defence via e-mail.
Sayed Amir's lawyer, Md Yunos Shariff, said he had received the documents.
He told the court that he had been instructed by his client to file a representation to the Attorney-General's Chambers (A-GC) to seek a review of the charges.
The court set Oct 18 for case management of the representation.
Yunos said Sayed Amir's representation would be sent to the A-GC this month.
On May 23, Sayed Amir claimed trial at the Sessions Court here to two counts of accepting gratification worth RM350,000 from a company managing director in December 2020.
