MUAR: A man, 60, lost RM89,000 to a fake insurance claim scam.
On Dec 3, he received a call from someone claiming to be an insurance company representative.
The caller said the man had made false insurance claims.
The man denied the allegations and was told to lodge a report.
Another person later told the man to change his banking details to the one given to him.
The man later checked his account and realised RM89,000 had been withdrawn.
He lodged a report yesterday.
