KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians have been banned from travelling to North Korea.
The Foreign Ministry in a statement today said the ban to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will be in place until further notice.
“This decision is taken in view of the escalation of tensions in the Korean peninsula and related developments arising from missile tests,” said Wisma Putra in statement.
The Foreign ministry said the travel band would be reviewed once the situation has returned to normal.
