Identities of victims killed in Tapah Road tragedy

KUALA LUMPUR: The following are the names of the victims killed in the road tragedy at KM45 Jalan Ipoh-Teluk Intan near Mambang Di Awan, Kampar today.

1. Lew San Jau, 32, (the driver of the van),

2. ‎Thong For Thye, 52,

3. ‎Cheong Kai Yen, 55,

4. ‎Wong Yok Yen, 61,

5. ‎Yow Sam Mooi, 67,

6. ‎Cheong Moy, 68,

7. ‎Chong Moi, 82,

8. ‎Liew Siew Fah, 81,

9. ‎Tang Kam Siew, 73.

Note: The driver of the lorry transporting ice Mohd Eizat Hani, 22, was rushed to the Kampar Hospital and thereafter transferred to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, Ipoh. -- BERNAMA
