KUALA LUMPUR: The trailer of the film Paskal, depicting the story of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) special forces team, has captured the attention of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Najib, who uploaded the 49-second mvoie trailer via his Twitter site, described the movie as impressive and reflecting courageous Malaysian warriors on their missions.

Directed by Adrian Tan, the film which was shot in Lumut, Semporna and Morocco features local acting talents such Hairul Azreen, Datuk Eizlan Yusof, Ammar Alfian, Henley Hii, Taufiq Hanafi, Gambit Saifullah, Hafizul Kamal, Theebaan G and Jasmine Suraya Chin.
The line-up of film stars in the movie also went through a short training session with the navy to get a feel of the characters they were playing.
Taken from a real life story, Paskal portrays the success of the elite forces while on a United Nations peacekeeping mission in Angola in 1998, apart from the mission to recapture the merchant ship MT Bung Laurel from pirates in the Gulf of Aden in 2011. - Bernama
