SUBANG JAYA: Two helicopter pilots sustained injuries when a private-owned Robinson R-66 crashed during a training flight at Subang Airport’s helicentre this morning.
It is learnt that the men, aged 59 and 70, were undergoing hovering manoeuvres training when the 8.05am crash occurred.
Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zani Che Din said the pilots sustained light injuries in the crash.
Zani said the incident did not interrupt the operation of the airport.
“The helicopter owner, however, had yet to lodge a report over the incident,” he said.
