TMJ's wife heads award recipients in conjunction with Johor Sultan's birthday

JOHOR BARU: The wife of Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ), Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, Che’ Puan Khaleeda Bustamam, headed the list of award recipients in conjunction with the birthday of Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.

Khaleeda was presented with the Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati Pangkat Pertama (DK 1) by Sultan Ibrahim in an investiture ceremony held at the Dewan Singgahsana of Istana Besar, here.

At the ceremony, the ruler also presented the Darjah Paduka Mahkota Johor Yang Amat Mulia Pangkat Kedua Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Johor (DPMJ), which carries the title of Datuk, to Dennis Muhammad Abdullah, the husband of Tunku Tun Aminah Maimunah Sultan Ibrahim.

Five individuals were presented with the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Kedua Dato’ Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (DMIJ), which carries the title of Datuk.

The recipients are director of the Johor Islamic Religious Department Md Rofiki A Shamsudin, Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor chief executive officer Mohd Noorazam Osman, Johor Islamic Religious Council chief executive offiicer Mohd Noh Ibrahim, the ruler's private secretary Jaba Mohd Noah and deputy State Secretary (management) Dr Badrul Hisham Kassim.

A total of 30 individuals were awarded with the Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangat Ketiga Setia Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (SIJ).

The recipient of the award includes state Health Department director Dr Selahuddeen Abd Aziz, PIJ Holdings Sdn Bhd general manager Abdul Rashid Ismail and Pengangkutan Awam Johor chief executive officer Ramli Abdul Rahman.

At the ceremony, 19 individuals were also presented with the Pingat Kerana Lama dan Baik dalam Pekerjaan (PLP), 115 individuals received the Pingat Sultan Ibrahim Johor Pangkat Kedua (PSI II) while 15 individuals received the Pingat Sultan Ibrahim Johor Pangkat Ketiga (PSI III).

Also present at the ceremony was the Permaisuri of Johor, Raja Zarith Sofiah Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, Tunku Ismail and the ruler's children.
