KUALA LUMPUR: 31 people tested positive for Covid-19 from 1,026 individuals screened under the Sentosa cluster in Sarawak.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 888 tested negative while 107 others were still waiting for their test results.
He said the screening involved health workers, family members, workers from a cleaning company, security guards, patients and other close contacts.
"Of the 397 health workers who have been screened, 17 tested positive, 360 negative and 20 are still waiting for their results.
"Meanwhile, of the 104 workers from a cleaning company and security guards, four tested positive and 100 tested negative."
He said the Sentosa cluster involved cases up to the second generation and the cause of the infection was still under investigation.
