KUALA LUMPUR: Yet another mall in Selangor records a Covid-19 case after a security personnel contracted the virus.
In a statement tonight, 3 Damansara located in Petaling Jaya said the staff who tested positive today was stationed at the mall's fire command centre.
However, it said the staff had not reported for duty since Oct 9 after a household member tested positive for Covid-19.
The mall's management said it had immediately conducted deep cleansing and thorough sanitisation of areas frequented by the employee in question.
Other staff members who were considered as close contacts of the staff had tested negative but are observing self quarantine for 14 days. They will also undergo another round of testing before they return to work.
"We will conduct another round of deep cleaning and thorough sanitisation of the public areas within the mall and office tower after closing hours tonight," 3 Damansara said.
