KUALA LUMPUR: Eight of the nine new Covid-19 clusters detected by the Health Ministry over the past 24 hours are related to workplaces.
Of the total coronavirus clusters emerging from workplaces, six of them were detected in the peninsular, of which, two were in Johor and one each in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Selangor and Negri Sembilan.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the remaining workplace-related Covid-19 clusters were in Sabah, namely the Ladang Segama and Jalan Segama clusters.
The remaining Covid-19 cluster detected by the ministry as of noon today was the Tembok Taiping Cluster, linked to a detention centre, involving the Larut, Matang and Selama districts in Perak.
