KUALA LUMPUR: A three-star hotel in the city centre here closed its doors yesterday.
No reason was cited for the closure of the Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur.
"Since we began our journey in 2007, our mission was to offer, to the best of our ability, warm hospitality and memorable services," a notice to all guests and associates which was sighted by the New Straits Times, stated.
The notice thanked everyone and said that the hotel would cease operating from Jan 29.
A check on the property's website said: "Goodbyes are not forever, though.
"We are still around and if your travel brings you to Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, we remain at your service at Silka Cheras Kuala Lumpur."
