PASIR PUTIH: While many visit Kundasang, Sabah to enjoy the lush green hills, Kelantanese have their own version of this popular tourist destination.
Kelantan's Kundasang-like spot is called 'Jeram Mengaji Agro Resort' and located in Selising here, about 22km from Pasir Putih town.
Locals love this resort not only because it has large green hills similar to those in New Zealand but also due to its dairy farm.
"This place is suitable for both parents and children. Parents can enjoy the NZ feel at the dairy farm and take pictures while children enjoy watching the cows.
"There is also horse riding for the children and the chance to buy fresh dairy milk and ice-cream," said one a visitor, Ahmad Shafiq Mohd Rosli.
Ahmad Shafiq who is from Peringat who visited the farm with his wife Nur Ayuni Yah Hussin, 29, and their four-year-old daughter Nur Aira Adeena said they enjoyed their recent trip though they had to travel more than an hour.
"I was informed that this farm attracted visitors not only from Kelantan but also from neighbouring states such as Terengganu and Pahang.
"Many want to experience the Kundasang-like view and the dairy farm which have gone viral on social media," said the 29-year-old government servant.
Nur Ayuni said the farm has the potential to be a new tourist attraction for the state as it draws many visitors especially on weekends and long holidays.
