It's official, Faizal Azumu is now PM's Special Advisor

KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu has been appointed Special Advisor to Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin with ministerial status.

In a statement today, the Prime Minister's Office said Faizal, who is also Tambun member of parliament and former Perak Menteri Besar, will be advising Muhyiddin on several national matters.

"He will be responsible for advising the Prime Minister on matters involving community networking, community communications and socio-economic development.

"This office congratulates YB Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal bin Azumu on this appointment," the statement read.
