Aspen Group's 'Vax to Win' campaign encourages more Malaysians to get vaccinated

KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with the country's 64th National Day celebrations, property developer Aspen Group has launched the "Vax to Win" campaign to encourage more Malaysians to get vaccinated.

The campaign, launched on Aug 31, offers prizes including resort-inspired condominiums, executive apartment units as well as gift cards.

The campaign is open for Malaysians who have completed their vaccination cycles and hold a digital vaccination certificate.

Aspen Group president and chief executive officer Datuk M. Murly said he hoped the campaign would inspire more Malaysians to get vaccinated soon.

"Vaccination is one of the ways out of this Covid-19 pandemic, to which, we have acknowledged its effectiveness in fighting against the coronavirus.

"We believe that the country's speed in driving out of this pandemic would be expedited once the majority of Malaysians nationwide are vaccinated.

"We look forward to seeing our 'Vax to Win' campaign work in inspiring and helping to raise the national vaccination rates soon," he said in a statement, today.

The campaign, said Murly, was one of the ways for the group to appreciate Malaysians who have taken the responsibility to get themselves vaccinated, thus becoming part of the national solution to this pandemic.

"We want to make this year's National Day an extraordinary one for all Malaysians as we come together in fighting against this pandemic.".

Members of the public who are interested in participating can register themselves on the groups' website, by uploading a copy of their digital vaccination certificates as well as answering a few questions.

The participants are also required to come up with a catchy slogan based on the theme "Bangkit Lebih Kuat Demi Negara" in no more than 20 words.

"Each individual is entitled to one entry for the campaign. However, those who have purchased properties from Aspen, as well as buyers with successful referrals, are eligible to obtain more entries," said Murly.

The group will hold an online draw on their Facebook page on May 1, 2022, to shortlist 28 participants and their slogan to be evaluated by a panel of judges in the final round.

Murly said the grand prize that awaits the winner is a Vertu Resort unit from the group's properties.

"The first, second and third place winners will win one unit of Vivo Executive apartment, each. The fourth till seventh place will get Ikea gift cards worth RM15,000.

"We also offer consolation prizes of Ikea cards worth RM10,000 for 10 winners and RM5,000 for the following 10 participants."

The campaign winners will be officially announced on May 8, 2022.

The campaign is open until March 31, 2022.
