KOTA BARU: 11 people died from Covid-19 in the state yesterday, raising the state's coronavirus death toll to 515.
According to the state health department, a majority of yesterday's fatalitites were senior citizens.
Kelantan recorded 1,320 new cases yesterday, bringing the cumulative figure to 92,299.
From the 1,320 cases, 1,294 were local transmissions, six imported while 20 were from the prisons.
Eight new clusters were recorded in the state yesterday, bringing the total figure to 268.
The eight clusters include Kampung Bechah Kelubi, Kampung Kedondong, Kampung Bahagia and Jalan Cherang Ruku.
A total 15,900 patients are still warded at several hospitals in the state with 86 at Intensive Care Units.
All the 10 districts in Kelantan remain red zones as daily cases continued to stay above a thousand.
Meanwhile, walk-in vaccination programmes in the state are still ongoing since it started last week with several vaccination centres (PPVs) recording good response, especially from those who have yet to receive their appointment dates via MySejahtera.
