KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia logged another 16,863 fresh Covid-19 cases yesterday, the lowest since Feb 8 this year.
This is a significant drop from the 20,923 cases reported the day before, pushing the total cases to 4,138,867.
According to CovidNow and GitHub, the Klang Valley make up the bulk of the daily caseload, with a whopping 9,273 in Selangor alone and 1,395 in Kuala Lumpur.
Penang recorded 990 cases, Perak had 836, Johor at 764, Kedah at 652, Sarawak at 631, Negri Sembilan at 556, Melaka at 403, Pahang at 383, Terengganu at 327, Kelantan at 295, and Sabah at 245.
Putrajaya and Labuan recorded 38 each while Perlis logged the lowest number of fresh cases at 37.
