KUALA LUMPUR: More help is pouring in for Turkiye-Syria earthquake victims via the Turkish Embassy here.
The Prince Court Medical Centre rallied to the aid of earthquake victims by presenting essential supplies to the embassy.
The items - medical supplies, food and blankets - will be distributed to victims of the recent earthquake.
Prince Court Medical Centre chief executive officer Cindy Choe said the donations are part of an ongoing effort to help with the immediate needs of earthquake victims in Turkiye and Syria in the coming weeks.
The items were presented to the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye's Second Secretary, Osman Aktas and Yunus Emre Institute's director Omer Altun at a simple handing-over event at the embassy on Tuesday.
"We are deeply distressed to hear about the tragedy and tragic loss of lives of Turkish people, and all those affected in this devastating disaster," Choe said.
She also conveyed their heartfelt condolences, sympathy, and support to all those who have lost loved ones.
"We share their grief during this difficult period, and we sincerely hope that they will be able to overcome this tragedy and rebuild their lives again," said Choe.
