KUALA LUMPUR: A TikTok user lamented how he had to wait for one hour after missing a Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) train.
@farmedfresher said on TikTok that he missed the train by only 0.2 seconds and had to wait for another hour for the next one.
"Missed my KTM by 0.2s but that was kind of my fault because the train was on time, but I want to know who thought that it was okay to have a one-hour train interval?," he wrote in his TikTok post.
Other Malaysians sympathised with him and shared their similar experiences.
Some spoke of witnessing elderly people facing the same issue.
"Seeing elderly people carrying heavy bags and missing the train is the highest level of pain," @happiness said.
@Shidgaf said she once had to wait for three hours for the next train due to bad weather.
Some users provided suggestions to not want to miss the train.
"Passengers can download the KTM Timetable app to check the train schedules. Most of the time it's accurate, but sometimes it's not," @Kedai.Kita said.
Other users such as @nuyin hoped that the train would have 30-minute intervals instead of hourly, while @ninsary hoped the old intervals would return.
