PERMATANG PAUH: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived at SK Seri Penanti here to cast his vote.
He arrived at 9.33am, accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
He greeted and shook hands with the people upon his arrival. Some took the opportunity to take a selfie with him.
He will be casting his vote for the Permatang Pasir state seat.
The Permatang Pasir seat sees a straight fight between Pakatan Harapan's Faiz Fadzil and Perikatan Nasional's Amir Hamzah Abdul Hashim.
It is one of three state seats in the Permatang Pauh parliamentary constituency, with the other seats being Seberang Jaya and Penanti.
All three seats were won by Pakatan Harapan in the last general election.
