KUALA LUMPUR: The government has reported a total of 6.5 million applications received for the RM100 eMadani credit as of the latest update.
Deputy Finance Minister I, Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, confirmed that RM650 million has been successfully credited to recipients so far, Bernama reported.

The e-Madani is a government initiative to disburse RM100 in e-credit to 10 million Malaysians aged 21 and above, with income below RM100,000 per annum, and who are not recipients of the past eBeliaRahmah credit.
It is a one-off incentive to encourage cashless transactions.
The initiative is made possible via the Madani Economy Framework, which was announced in July.
