PERMATANG PAUH: Twenty-three motorcycles and an ATV were destroyed when fire gutted a workshop at Kampung Guar Perahu here early this morning.
No one was injured in the incident.
The Penanti fire and rescue station was alerted to the incident about 3.18am.
Operations commander Mohd Fadzil Othman said when they arrived at the scene, about 70 per cent of the motorcycle workshop was already on fire.
"The fire also destroyed 23 motorcycles and an ATV with damages estimated at 90 per cent.
"We managed to put out the fire and the operations ended at 5.50am.
Mohd Fadzil said the case has been handed over to the fire investigating officer for further action.
