JOHOR BARU: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has granted an audience to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Pasir Pelangi Palace here today.
The audience, in which His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail, Regent of Johor was also present, was posted on Sultan Ibrahim's Facebook page.
Tunku Ismail's Facebook page also posted pictures of the audience, as well as the official page of the royal family.
Sultan Ibrahim had received an audience of guests far and wide since becoming the country's 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, which included dignitaries like the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-SharifChina Premier Li Qiang.
The meeting with Anwar would be his first audience since his installation on July 20.
