The final report on the plane crash in Elmina to be released at 3pm today

JELEBU: The final report on the plane crash in Elmina, Shah Alam, which claimed 10 lives on Aug 17 last year, will be released at 3pm today.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke confirmed the matter when asked about the progress of the investigation into the tragedy.

He said the report would be uploaded to the Transport Ministry's website at 3pm today.

"The report will be released today at 3pm. Please wait for the report.

"This report is from our Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) and will be officially uploaded to the Transport Ministry's website, " he said during the launch of the Seremban Stage Bus Service Transformation Programme at Kuala Klawang bus station here today.

Yesterday, it was reported that Loke said the final report on the plane crash would be released in a few days.

In the incident last year, the six-seater Beechcraft Model 390 Premier 1 aircraft bearing the registration number N28JV, crashed near Elmina, Shah Alam during its approach into Subang Airport from Langkawi.

The crash killed all eight people onboard along with two road users.
