PUTRAJAYA: At 99 years old, former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad drew significant attention at the National Day celebration in Dataran Putrajaya.
Arriving at 9.20am in a Proton X70, Dr Mahathir, dressed in a long-sleeved blue chequered shirt, joined the crowd with evident enthusiasm.
His presence was met with cheers and applause, with onlookers shouting "Tun" in appreciation.
During his brief 20-minute visit, he waved the Jalur Gemilang and mingled with the public, shaking hands and posing for photos.
His appearance added a special touch to the National Day festivities, leaving a lasting impression on those in attendance.
