KUALA LUMPUR: A lorry accident on Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (Duke) near Jalan Tun Razak, heading towards Gombak, caused part of a flyover barrier to fall onto a parked car below.
City Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa said the incident, which occurred at 1.40pm today, involved a lorry that reportedly lost control and crashed into the flyover barrier.
"The impact dislodged the concrete barrier, which fell and hit a parked car underneath.
"No injuries were reported as the car was unoccupied at the time of the incident," he said in a statement.
The case was being investigated under the Road Transport Act 1987 for driving without due care and attention
The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the lorry losing control.
