KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Zakaria Shaaban has been appointed as the new Immigration Department director-general.
Zakaria, who was previously the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry deputy secretary-general, replaces Datuk Ruslin Jusoh.
Zakaria appointment to the post was announced in a posting on the Immigration Department's Facebook page today.
