King visits Comac research centre in Beijing

KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, earlier today visited the Comac Civil Aircraft Technical Research Centre in Beijing to receive a briefing on China's latest aviation technologies.

His Majesty also had the opportunity to test the flight simulator at the centre.

Following the visit, Sultan Ibrahim proceeded to Beijing Capital International Airport to inspect two aircraft manufactured by Comac.

He was accompanied by Tunku Temenggong Johor, Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj Sultan Ibrahim.

Also present were Transport Minister Anthony Loke, Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming, Foreign Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Seri Amran Mohamed Zin, and Malaysia's Ambassador to China, Datuk Norman Muhamad.
