LANGKAWI: Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad (MAHB) brightened the lives of 150 pupils from SK Kilim through its MYAirportCARES initiative, the Joyful Back-to-School Programme.
As part of the initiative, it contributed RM87,000 to help prepare the pupils for the 2025/26 school year.
Each pupil was allocated RM400 to purchase essential school items such as uniforms, bags, and shoes at Langkawi Parade shopping centre.
In a statement, it said the pupils also received RM180 in e-wallet credits to purchase school supplies from their school cooperative.
"The programme aims to inspire students to approach the new school session with greater enthusiasm."
"It aligns with our corporate responsibility to strengthen community and youth development through education," it said.

Since its launch in 2018, more than 4,000 students nationwide have benefitted from the initiative, which provides school essentials like uniforms, bags, and stationery.
This effort is supported by Khazanah Nasional Berhad through the "Berbudi Bersama" programme.
MAHB, which is dedicated to providing excellent services to passengers, also prioritises its social responsibility.
Recently, the company donated walking canes to 311 students with disabilities through the "A Cane for Every Blind Student" programme.
"Our commitment goes beyond serving passengers; we strive to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve," it said.
