KUALA LUMPUR: Singaporean low-cost airline Scoot has apologised following an altercation between two passengers onboard Flight TR135 from Xi'an, China, to Singapore.
A video of the incident shared on Reddit showed tensions escalating between two men as the plane landed.
In the video, one man could be seen stopping another man from retrieving his luggage.
Tensions rose and the men exchanged punches.
Crew members brought the situation under control.
The Malay Mail reported that in a statement to Singapore's Mandarin-language Channel 8, Scoot confirmed the incident.
"While disembarking at Changi Airport, our crew was informed of a conflict between two passengers and intervened to control the situation in accordance with safety protocols.
"There were no further disruptions to the disembarkation process," the airline was quoted as saying.
Scoot reaffirmed its commitment to passenger and crew safety.
