KUALA LUMPUR: We Malaysians may live in multicultural society, but it is not everyday that one sees a pair of Malay girls singing and vibing to a local Tamil song on stage.
A video of the two, one in a headscarf and another wearing a cap, has been making the s rounds on social media platforms, gaining a tremendous amount of likes and shares.
The duo, believed to be stage performers, were recorded while they were performing at a restaurant in Kajang Road in Penang.
The video of the two singing a local Malaysian Tamil song has so far gain almost 800,000 views since being posted.
The girls' fluency in pronuncing Tamil words has earned them praises from hundreds of viewers on TikTok.
Based on the TikTok account, one of the girls goes by the name NoraVanish and the other by the name Yucha.
