KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector Sheila Sharon Steven Kumar, the policewoman who has been making headlines over the last few weeks, has taken to social media to share her quest for a prospective partner.
In a Facebook post, Sheila, suspended pending an ongoing court case for intimidation, boldly asks: "Anyone here wants to marry me?" The 35-year-old's post, which has been generating significant buzz online, invited suitors from diverse backgrounds to express their interest by commenting with a simple "yes".
"Note: Only those who comment on this post get to go out on a date with me. This applies to all single men, regardless of their age, race, religion, profession, (and) location," the post stated.
Eager to explore new possibilities, she expressed her willingness to embark on a date with any suitable candidate who fulfils her undisclosed conditions and gains the approval of her father.
"Let me know in the comment section, and we will definitely go on a date to test the field, in which both of us have to like each other.
"Also, that guy has to pass all the conditions (that) I have set. Subsequently, we'll meet my dad for his approval and blessings."
