KUALA LUMPUR: A heartwarming video of an elderly couple struggling to sell "bantal kekabu" (pillows made from fluffy kapok tree fibres) has touched the hearts of netizens.
Posted by @reezmell on TikTok, the video shows the couple parked and ready to sell their pillows as early as 7am. By noon, they had not sold a single piece.
Moved by their plight, @reezmell called on netizens to come together and support the couple by purchasing the pillows, priced at only RM30 each.
"Let's use the power of social media to help this uncle and auntie sell their 'bantal kekabu'," she encouraged.
In the comments, many netizens expressed their sympathy and eagerness to help.
