KUALA LUMPUR: A mother and daughter's joint graduation celebration at a local university has captured the hearts of netizens as the heartwarming moment embodies a deep bond of love, pride and hope.

In a viral TikTok clip shared by @clumsytea_, the daughter is seen adjusting her mother's graduation robe while wearing the same attire.


As they playfully strike poses for photos and videos before they walked proudly across the stage to receive their hard earned degree beaming with pride.

The daughter lead the way, followed closely by her mother, both radiating joy as the marked a new milestone in their lives.

The daughter is the first to walk on stage, followed by her mother just behind her as they both smiled proudly and happily to achieve such a huge milestone together.

Apparently, according to the caption, the daughter was hesistent to pursue her higher degree, as she lacked friends to accompany her for the lectures and was satisfied with her job.

But her mother changed her mind after she agreed to enroll together to make the degree programme enjoyable.

The video has amassed over 130,000 views and 20,000 likes, with netizens congratulating the duo and expressing their admiration for the strong ties the pair enjoy.

User @ndoongie asked if the mother and daughter "carry out work assignments together," to which @surawatirahimin, the mother in the video, replied that they did everything together, sharing the "same course, class, assignment groups, study sessions, and graduation."

Other netizens expressed their desire to copy this experience, with @ubatgigi.darlee commenting, "I will do the same with my eldest child, but while she completes her degree, I will be pursuing my second PhD; I'm willing to wait for her."

Meanwhile, @ruzanahum shared her own experience, stating that she did the same with her mother, who was unable to go on stage during her graduation because she was giving birth.

But together, they later enrolled in a university course and proudly walked on stage together during graduation.
