IPOH: Perak Pas today held a special meeting to discuss on the future of the state.
The meeting which started at 9.30am was chaired by its first deputy Commisioner Muhammad Ismi Mat Taib.
Media members however failed to get any comments about the content of the meeting as Muhammad Ismi and all of the committee members refused to give their comments.
Pas Commissioner Razman Zakaria when contacted today said he was not able to chair the meeting as he had to rush to Terengganu for the central Pas meeting.
"In Perak, the meeting will discuss about the future of the state," he said without explaining further.
In a statement later on his Facebook account, Razman urged the people of Perak to be patient and remain calm over the challenge that the state was currently facing.
"A decision has yet to be made as we are still in the midst of discussion. We cannot listen from one side only like BN (Barisan Nasional), PH (Pakatan Harapan) and media.
"We need to understand that the decision later is not coming from an individual, Pakteh (referring to himself) but it is from the party through Syura Council.
"Now there is time to pray, zikir to Allah so the light of Islam will be seen in Perak," he said.
BN only won 27 seats, PKR won 29 seats and Pas three seats. In the last 13th General Election (GE13), BN formed a state government when it captured 31 out of 59 state seats.
