10 exco members sworn in by Kelantan Regent

KOTA BARU: Four fresh faces were among 10 new Kelantan state executive councillors who took their oath of office before the Regent of Kelantan, Dr Tengku Muhammad Faiz Petra, at Istana Kota Lama here today.

The new faces were Tuan Saripudin Tuan Ismail (Selising); Azami Mohd Nor (Kadok); Dr Izani Husin (Kijang); and Wan Roslan Wan Hamat (Pengkalan Kubor).

Also sworn in was Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah (Panchor), as deputy Kelantan Menteri Besar.

Others who took their oaths as state executive councillors were Datuk Dr Mohd Fadli Hassan (Temangan); Datuk Nasuruddin Daud (Meranti); Datuk Hanifa Ahmad (Pengkalan Pasir); Mumtaz Mohd Nawi (Demit); and Datuk Md Anizam Abdul Rahman (Kemahang).

Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakub was sworn in last Thursday.

Also present at the ceremony were Kelantan Mufti Datuk Mohamad Shukri Mohamad; state Secretary Datuk Nazran Mohamad; and Tengku Kaya Perkasa, Datuk Dr Tengku Muhamed Faziharudeen Tengku Fiessal.

Pas retained power in Kelantan after winning 37 state constituencies in the recent 14th general election.
