Anwar reminds PH leaders to stay away from corruption at ceramah finale

SEREMBAN: PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged all Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders to stay true to the struggle of the party to fight corruption.

In the final hour of Rantau state seat by-election grand finale campaign programme held here tonight, Anwar said PH is committed to fight corruption which was rampant in the previous government administration.

"We are not here to pick up a fight with anyone. But we can't tolerate any form of corruption no matter how small the amount may be.

"To PH leaders, remember this, don't ever think we can do whatever we want just because we have taken over the government. Remember the power of the people," he said.

"Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has made this clear to everyone that he would never tolerate corruption. I, together with other PH leaders, fully support him.”

The Rantau by-election is set to see a four-cornered fight between Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, Pakatan Harapan’s Dr S. Streram and two independent candidates, R Malarvizhi and Mohd Nor Yasin.
