GEORGE TOWN: DAP will support any decision by Pakatan Harapan (PH) with regards to the formation of the federal government, including with Barisan Nasional (BN).
Its chairman, Lim Guan Eng, said the party leaves it to the PH top leadership to decide on the coalition.
"As part of the PH coalition, if PH and BN are forming a coalition government, we will support.
"This is a joint decision which we take, not only in the DAP central executive committee (CEC),' he told newsmen at the sidelines of the state legislative assembly sitting today.
Lim said the DAP CEC had a meeting in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. He, however, did not divulge details of the meeting.
Meanwhile, DAP vice chairman Chow Kon Yeow said he was not present at the DAP CEC meeting.
"Everything will be subjected to the party's decision," he said.
He, however, acknowledged that there were mixed reactions from voters.
"There are those who are concerned about the coalition government. We listened to these voices.
"As party members, all need to follow the party's official decision," he said.
