SHAH ALAM: Former Women, Family and Community Development Minister, Datuk Seri Rina Harun says she will have experience on her side as she hopes to sway voters in her favour as a Perikatan Nasional hopeful in Selangor's Batu Tiga.
She says that even though Selangor is a Pakatan Harapan stronghold (PH), she is confident that PN is capable of making headway in this state assembly election.
"It's not going to be easy but we will work hard for it as what we're seeing now is just disappointment from a lot of broken promises by the federal government in the last seven months.
"I will use my experience as a former cabinet minister to think up of ways to help improve the socioeconomic conditions of the people of Shah Alam and the infrastructure for the benefit of the people too," she said when speaking to reporters at her nomination as PN candidate for Batu Tiga here at Dewan Besar Tanjung, MBSA, Seksyen 19 earlier today.
