SHAH ALAM: Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) have officially won eight more state assembly seats in the Selangor state election as of 10.55pm.
Statements issued by the Election Commission, identified that PH had won the Taman Templer, Sungai Tua, Seri Serdang, Kinrara, Kampung Tunku, Bandar Utama, Meru and Pelabuhan Klang seats.
The EC had earlier announced that PH had officially won the Bukit Antarabangsa, Subang Jaya, Teratai, Tanjong Sepat, Pandamaran, Sekinchan, Sungai Pelek, Pandan Indah, Bandar Baru Klang, Seri Kembangan, Lembah Jaya and Banting state seats.
Meanwhile, Barisan Nasional has won the Sungai Air Tawar seat.
This brings the total number of seats officially won by the PH-BN pact to 22 out of the 56 state seats up for grabs in Selangor.
Meanwhile, Perikatan Nasional (PN) has officially won additional seats in the Selat Kelang, Sabak, Hulu Bernam, Bukit Melawati, Ijok, Semenyih and Taman Medan contests on top of winning in Permatang earlier.
This brings PN's official tally to a total of eight seats in Selangor
