NIBONG TEBAL: Around 31.32 per cent of eligible voters have cast their ballots for the Sungai Bakap by-election as of 3pm, the Election Commission reported.
There was no early voting for Sungai Bakap as all 57 police personnel under the constituency have registered as postal voters.
A total of 39,151 people are eligible to vote in today's by-election, triggered by the death of its incumbent, Pas' Nor Zamri Latiff.
The battle for Sungai Bakap sees a straight fight between Pakatan Harapan's Dr Joohari Ariffin and Perikatan Nasional's Abidin Ismail.
Voting ends at 6pm.
