I AM writing to express my concern about the behaviour of an airline pilot.
He posted videos of his airplane cockpit, including during take-offs and landings, on his social media sites.
These posts may raise concerns about adherence to aviation safety regulations and protocols.
I believe these recordings may violate the aviation authority's regulations and the airline's policies regarding cockpit procedures and the use of electronic devices during critical phases of flight.
I recall that airlines have a strict internal policy prohibiting personal recordings in flights.
While the airline involved may be lenient about this, posting cockpit recordings, photos and reels is against the regulations of civil aviation authorities globally.
Pilots should adhere to the highest standards of aviation safety to maintain public trust and the integrity of the aviation industry.
