Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld Malaysia) has achieved more than half of its RM2.875 billion sales target for the financial year ending October 31, 2021 (FY2021), says its chief
The group achieved RM2.02 billion sales for the first six months from November 1, 2020, to April 30 this year.
EcoWorld Malaysia president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said there was a good start to FY2021 with RM706 million sales recorded in the first quarter of the financial year.
The company recorded stronger sales of RM1.3 billion in 2Q 2021, he said in a statement issued recently.
Chang said the group experienced steady sales across nearly all its ongoing projects in the Klang Valley, Iskandar Malaysia, and Penang.
He said the launch of Eco Botanic 2 in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor, the new Co-Home product at Eco Horizon and Eco Grandeur, as well as the second phase of ErgoHomes and Garden Homes at Eco Forest, contributed to the sales achieved.
On the company's sales target for FY2021, Chang said EcoWorld Malaysia is confident that it will be able to reach the RM2.875 billion set for the year.
"The RM 2.02 billion already locked in for 1H 2021 is a positive lead indicator of continued steady cash inflows from operations. Along with continued financial discipline and cost efficiencies being reaped from ongoing digitalisation of operations, the group is well-positioned to achieve our financial goals and objectives," he said.
