Factories worth RM213 mln snapped up in Elmina Business Park, says Sime Darby Property

Sime Darby Property Berhad said that all RM213 million worth of its Twin Factories 3 and Detached Factories 1 in Selangor were snapped up during the most recent launch.

The Twin Factories 3 comprises 24 units of 120' x 200' semi-detached units with a spacious built-up of 13,663 sq ft priced from RM8.08 million.

The Detached Factories 1 has four 120' x 215' detached units with a built-up of 11,942 sq ft, priced at RM8.38 million.

The factories are situated in the 1,500-acre Elmina Business Park in Sungai Buloh, which provides customers with good connectivity via five major highways, including the Guthrie Corridor Expressway, the North-South Expressway, and the soon-to-be-finished Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway.

Elmina Business Park is a freehold, master-planned industrial estate. It is one of the projects in the "Sime Darby Property Industrial" portfolio, which combines top-notch assets with services that are unmatched in the market.

The factories are aimed at domestic and international industrial and logistical players.

According to Ir. Mohd Sohimin Mohd Alayedin, chief executive officer of Sime Darby Property's property development division, the factories' full take-up was a result of the company's efforts to provide goods that cater to a variety of customer types, including business owners, service providers, and investors.

The factories have pre-designated areas for solar panels, effective storage with numerous loading bays, concrete roadways with designated parking places, high warehouse ceilings with a minimum of nine metres in height, and customizable floor loads starting at 15kN/m2 as well as other features.

Each unit also has skylight panels for increased light penetration and is built to easily expand horizontally by merging two adjacent units should business owners need a bigger central warehouse.
