Kuala Lumpur: UEM Sunrise Bhd will launch Residensi ZIG, the second phase of Kiara Bay, a multi-generational themed leasehold development in Kepong this weekend.
Residensi ZIG has 1,126 units spread across 1.38 hectares in three blocks with up to 50 and 56 levels.
There are five built-up sizes ranging from studio to four-bedroom units, with sizes ranging from 450 to 1,198 square feet. The units start at RM340,888 (RM575 per square foot).
Residensi ZIG is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM 646.2 million.
Each floor has 26 units, which include semi-detached and bungalow units.
The larger units are in the premium zone and require a special keycard to enter, providing residents with added security.
Certain walls are removable, demonstrating adaptive and flexible living to suit the diverse lifestyles of the residents, and certain units allow residents to design enclosable kitchens.
Some units have urban yards and balconies.
"We are excited to unveil the second phase of Kiara Bay, Residensi ZIG, a biophilic residence conceptualised to bring us back to our roots and demonstrate that nature can coexist with our homes," said UEM Sunrise chief marketing officer Kenny Wong at the project's media preview event held yesterday at the Kiara Bay Sales Gallery in Kepong.
Wong revealed that Residensi ZIG is UEM Sunrise's third project in the Klang Valley this year, following The Minh in Mont'Kiara and The Connaught One in Cheras, both in Kuala Lumpur.
He said that sales for all ongoing projects have been strong.
"In fact, we exceeded our 2023 sales target in August," Wong added.
Residensi ZIG is a post-pandemic lifestyle residence with four facility zones: a celebration zone, a sweat zone, a home-work zone, and a leisure zone.
A 100-person capacity sky-dining hall, a co-living lounge, a sky barbecue area, badminton courts, a 50-metre lap pool, a playground, and a wellness corner with yoga decks, exercise stations, and hammocks are among the amenities.
Kiara Bay, announced in 2019, is UEM Sunrise's flagship township in Kepong. The current township plan covers 29.4 hectares and includes 15 developable plots, roads, green pathways, and open spaces.
